News on the Vauxhall Mokka

The much anticipated Vauxhall Mokka will be released in Europe first, with the RHD variants to follow in the UK in the first quarter of 2013.

The model will have a choice of engines costisting of the 115hp 1.6 litre Petrol unit and a 140hp 1.4 litre Petrol turbo.  There will also be a diesel version boasting 130hp from its 1.7 litres.

Technology wise it will have-

• Driver assistance based of the Opel eye front camera system
• Rear view camera
• Ergonomic seating- certified by a German healthy back system
• Opel and Vauxhalls fully integrated flex bix carrier

You get the choice of two wheels or all-wheel drive, the latter of which sounds like a front wheel drive setup that transfers power to the rear wheels. There’s an array of acronyms, including electronic stability control (ESC), traction control (TC), hill start assist (HAS) and hill descent control (HDC).
