The New Ford B-Max!

The new Ford B-max is a new exciting innovative design. It has features that have only previously been found in much larger and bigger cars.

It essentially has the features of a larger car, and attends the needs of customers who want much more from there smaller cars.

Recently, ford confirmed that the B-max will be powered by an assortment of Petrol and diesel engines, fewer than 2 litres.

One of the engines is set to be a three cylinder 1.0 EcoBoost Petrol engine, which will also be found in the focus. Another one of the engines will be the Duratorq TDCi diesel engine.

Ford is trying to appeal to customers who want a sharp, new modern innovative car, a car which will have all the qualities and functions of a larger car, yet in a smaller car. Key to this, will be the “Pillarless” Body shell, which gives way to the conventional B-pillar by , integrating , it into the front and sliding doors.  The way that the ford engineers have done this, is by using Ultra high strength boron steel in the doors. The doors have special safety interlocks between those panels and body structure.

They feel the sliding doors give them a unique selling point, the market research told Ford, they needed to have them, it was simpler for elder people and young kids , because of the access to the rear.

The production date will be released in March this year.
