BMW have announced that they will be refreshing the BMW X6 car later this year in 2012. There will be a range of design tweaks that will be affected along with performance improvements. Not only will they be updating the current model, there will also be a new M50d performance model on the way.
Some of the improvements will be-
- A new front end with a wider chrome frame and new fog light placement
- Revised red light cluster on the rear
- Enhancing the lines of the car with two horizontal LED Bars
- New colours such as Orion Silver, Midnight Blue, and Marrakesh Brown, will now be available.
- Two new upholstery trims Ivory White Exclusive Nappa Leather and Vermilion Red Nevada Leather.
Both the BMW X6 & BMW X5 M will be receiving the additions of aluminium brake callipers, and they will also become the first BMW models to have adaptive LED headlights as standard. Another addition to the BMW X6 M is the powerdrome bonnet enhancing it’s more varied and flexible stance.
Meanwhile the BMW X6 M and BMW X5 M also receive styling tweaks with the addition of Aluminium brake callipers in blue and become the first BMW models to include Adaptive LED Headlights as standard. In addition, the BMW X6 M also gains a Powerdome bonnet enhancing its athletic stance.
The face lifted models will be available in dealerships from around June 2012.
